Deep red and dark berry aromas meld with hints of raspberry, dark cherry, blackberry, and blueberry in this rich Cabernet Sauvignon. Well-integrated with expressive tannins, our 2007 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon shows notes of jam, sweet vanilla and dark chocolate on the palate.

A dry winter and a warm, dry spring initiated an early start to the 2007 growing season in Napa Valley. The weather unfolded with mild temperatures and a single heat spike in early September. Our Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were picked by hand and cold soaked for up to five days to maximize the extraction of color and flavor. Following fermentation, the wine underwent malolactic fermentation and was aged for 21 months in French, American and Hungarian oak barrels.
