A blend of 94% Petit Verdot, 3% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Merlot, our 2010 Bench Blend Petite Verdot is the deepest and darkest red in the William Hill Estate portfolio. With distinctive dark fruit flavors and delicate floral notes, this wine features a great tannin structure and a full body.
All of the fruit for this wine was handpicked from our Estate. After a 48-hour cold soak, the juice remained in contact with the skins for up to 20 days to optimize the flavor and tannin extraction. The blend was assembled in spring of 2012 and returned to oak barrels to encourage a harmonious marriage of flavor and oak before bottling .
