This Estate-grown Cabernet Franc has complex aromas of red and black cherries, rose petals and dark chocolate.  Smooth and luscious on the palate, the wine delivers a burst of fruit framed in subtle oak spice with a rich yet balanced mouthfeel.

2003 was a very erratic growing season.  March had some unusual early heat spikes but April was one of the wettest on record.  The summer was long and warm/cool allowing the fruit to develop good complexity.  The heat spikes in late autumn gave the fruit tremendous intensity and depth.
