The William Hill Estate Winery 2021 Napa Valley Chardonnay is an elegant expression of California's acclaimed winegrowing region. Aromas of toasted caramel and warm brioche radiate from the glass. The mouthfeel is luscious and creamy, revealing layers of apple, pear and vanilla with a dollop of lemon custard. Notes of lemon zest brighten the long, crisp finish.

The Benchmark Red Blend is the pinnacle of our red portfolio and our most exquisite expression of the William Hill Estate Vineyard. Using our favorite blocks, our Benchmark Red Blend is a big, rich wine filled with high-toned fresh fruit notes including blueberry, blackberry and plum. It’s framed by hints of spice, cinnamon and graham cracker, bringing to mind a summer fruit cobbler. Velvety tannins and a luscious mouthfeel lead into a long, full finish swirling with suggestions of fruit and sweet crème.
Our inaugural release of The Notch opens with a bouquet of intense fruit-driven aromas and spices. This Merlot-based blend features decadent notes of Luxardo cherries, crème de cassis, cola and plum on a plush profile that evolves into a velvety finish. A significant amount of Cabernet Sauvignon is used for support – only the ripest estate-grown Cabernet made its way into the final blend, adding dimension and structure while maintaining a luxurious mouthfeel.
Our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a structured and polished expression of the variety through the lens of the William Hill estate vineyard. Offering layers of complexity, this wine opens with enticing aromas of blackberry and black cherry while notes of black olive, ripe plum and licorice are revealed on the palate. Perfectly balanced, this full-bodied wine showcases graceful acidity, fine-grain tannins and a long structured finish making it a wine to enjoy now, after an hour of decanting, or tuck away in the cellar, as it will age wonderfully for 8 -10 years.
This unique and fascinating Cabernet Franc was crafted from archetypical vineyards in Napa Valley. Along with fruit from our estate vineyard on the Silverado Bench, we augmented the blend with a generous amount of Cabernet Franc from the iconic Stagecoach Vineyard on Atlas Peak. A small percentage of our estate Cabernet Sauvignon was added to round out the wine. Our Winemaker’s Series Cabernet Franc showcases fascinating aromas and flavors of chocolate covered raspberries, dried herbs and Castelvetrano olives with a hint of cream soda on the soft, juicy finish.
Sourced from archetypical vineyards throughout Napa Valley, this Chardonnay was carefully crafted in the cellar to balance vivid fruit with toasty barrel notes. Our 2021 Winemaker’s Series Reserve Chardonnay open with tantalizing aromas of candied peaches, nectarines, orange blossom and fresh baked apple cobbler. The fruit-forward palate is marked by lively acidity that leads to a long, round finish showcasing notes of shortbread cookie and freshly shaved allspice.
Our Winemaker's wines are crafted from select blocks on Napa Valley’s finest vineyards to display intense fruit flavors and layers of complexity. The deeply-flavored, silky 2015 Winemaker's Series Cabernet Franc opens with aromas of bright blackberry and juicy plum. On the palate, rich flavors of black cherry, blackberry and cola meld with light waves of toasted oak, tilled earth, licorice, nutmeg and black pepper. This medium-bodied wine has a savory mouthfeel and fine-grained tannins that create a clean, bright finish that lingers.
The Benchmark Red Blend is the pinnacle of the William Hill Estate Winery portfolio. Benchmark Red Blend is crafted primarily from select micro-blocks from our 140-acre estate vineyard. The palate is characterized by intense, complex layers of dark fruit and cassis with hints of dark floral characters, while the finish offers subtle notes of toast. Incredibly well-structured, Benchmark has firm tannins and excellent acidity, blending for a rich, velvety texture. Cabernet Sauvignon forms the core of the blend, while Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc offer deep color and notes of blackberry, soft leather and pepper to the blend.

This Benchland Series wine is crafted from select blocks on our William Hill Estate vineyard. This full-bodied, luscious Cabernet Sauvignon displays intense, concentrated fruit flavors and layers of complexity. Deep garnet in color, bold aromas of Crème de Cassis, blueberry syrup and plum compote are presented against of backdrop of earthiness. Intriguing and complex, palate follows the aromas. The wine slowly unfurls with time, coaxing out hints of clove, bay leaf and worn leather. Full bodied, it has a firm backbone of ripe tannins and copious amounts of layered black fruit on the lingering, savory finish.
Our 2021 Winemaker’s Series Spring Mountain Chardonnay is an intriguing wine with bright layers and floral notes. Tropical aromas of freshly grated ginger, white nectarine and jasmine greet the nose. Refreshing notes of sliced Green Anjou pear swirl with a hint of Meyer lemon. A silky mouthfeel, round tannin and lovely acidic backbone complete the long, mineral-crisp finish. Enjoyable now or will cellar nicely for many years to come.

Our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich, complex wine that combines generous fruit flavors with a smooth-but-structured mouthfeel to display the full character of oustanding Napa Valley Cabernet. The wine is a beautiful dense purple and opens with aromas of ripe dark fruit and spice. On the palate, intense flavors of blackberry, black cherry and plum mingle with lingering notes of sage, licorice and molasses. This is a full-bodied and well-structured Cabernet fine, soft tannins and a long, satsfying finish.
This wine is crafted from select blocks on our estate vineyard precisely chosen to display intense fruit flavors and layers of complexity. The 2015 Petit Verdot opens with powerful aromas of dark fruit and offers an abundance of rich and concentrated dark fruit layers including boysenberry jam and plum. The wine’s pronounced tannins frame the fruit and lead to notes of toasted oak and butterscotch brittle. The long finish adds a touch of spice and earth to the full fruit tones, creating depth and an alluring streak of brightness that enhances the full-bodied wine.
This small lot wine, just 11 barrels produced, was crafted from archetypical vineyards in Napa Valley. Along with fruit from our estate vineyard on the Silverado Bench, we augmented the blend with a generous amount of Cabernet Franc from the iconic Stagecoach Vineyard on Atlas Peak. A small percentage of Merlot was added from the mountainous Cypress Ranch Vineyard to round out the wine. Our Winemaker’s Series Cabernet Franc expresses more blue fruit and is very concentrated, offering notes of dark plum with a fragrant Herbes de Provence lift. On the palate, notes of black cherry and berry pie blend with subtle hints of burnt caramel, Chinese Five Spice and toffee before a long, silky finish.
Our 2019 William Hill Winemaker’s Series Petit Verdot is a full-bodied wine with a huge presence and depth of dark fruit. Plush and velvety in the mouth, our Petit Verdot opens with aromas of blueberry with sweet cardamon and shaved baker’s chocolate. Layer after layer of juicy black plum and blackberry lead to chewy tannins with a hint of dark spice on the long finish. This wine will cellar nicely for the next 10 to 12 years and would also benefit from decanting before serving.
Our William Hill Estate Central Coast Pinot Noir reveals bright aromas of Bing cherries, raspberries and wild strawberries. Notes of toasted oak, clove and shaved chocolate lead to a plush mouthfeel and smooth finish.
Our Napa Valley Chardonnay celebrates our home in the Napa Valley. Aromas of ripe Anjou pear and crème brûlée complement layers of ripe peach, golden apple and lemon shortbread on the palate. The velvety mouthfeel is balanced by bright acidity that carries through a fresh finish with a hint of spice.
To create a dynamic Chardonnay, we carefully selected grapes from several distinct growing regions in Napa Valley. Fruit was handpicked from the warm St. Helena AVA, which provide tropical flavors and a round mouthfeel. We also looked to the foggy vineyards of Carneros for crisp acidity and to the moderate Oak Knoll AVA to bring structure to the blend. The warm and evenly paced 2019 vintage produced expressive, vibrant wines with complex flavors.
The grapes for our William Hill Estate Napa Valley Chardonnay were harvested by hand and whole cluster pressed. All juice underwent barrel fermentation at an ambient cellar temperature of 65˚F. Following primary fermentation, the wine underwent full malolactic fermentation with sur lie aging in 30% new American oak.
