Our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a structured and polished expression of the variety through the lens of the William Hill estate vineyard. Offering layers of complexity, this wine opens with enticing aromas of blackberry and black cherry while notes of black olive, ripe plum and licorice are revealed on the palate. Perfectly balanced, this full-bodied wine showcases graceful acidity, fine-grain tannins and a long structured finish making it a wine to enjoy now, after an hour of decanting, or tuck away in the cellar, as it will age wonderfully for 8 -10 years.

Our 2020 Winemaker’s Series Malbec opens with aromas of pine tree, cedarwood, raspberry compote and rose petal. Medium bodied, the palate displays plush tannins and expansive notes of purple plum, torn basil, raspberry syrup, and musk. French oak adds hints of cedarwood to the lingering spice on the finish.

The pinnacle of our red wine portfolio, our Benchmark Red Blend displays a combination of power, structure and site-specificity and is a tribute to our estate vineyard. The complex and full-bodied 2017 vintage is balanced and refined. Tones of blueberry liqueur, raspberry pie and black currant combine aromatically in the glass with hints of camphor and dark chocolate. Merlot and Petite Verdot effortlessly support the blend, simultaneously adding depth and silkiness to the layered profile. On the palate, lush tannins carry over a long, lingering finish.

This Cabernet Sauvignon displays intense, concentrated layers of complexity. The 2019 vintage opens with a rich bouquet of black currant, blueberry cobbler and a warm Tahitian vanilla. Intense notes of ripe blackberries and cedar, along with subtle undertones of sage and olive tampenade grace the palate. Luxuriously silky, this Cabernet boasts opulent tannins that glide on the lengthy finish.

Our 2019 Benchmark Red is a powerful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Petite Verdot. Aromas of purple raspberry, Tahitian vanilla and bay laurel please the senses while notes of dark fruit and ripe blueberry complemented by hints of oak and star anise permeate the full-bodied palate.

Our 2021 Winemaker’s Series Carneros Chardonnay captures the intricacies of Carneros, Napa Valley’s most renowned Chardonnay region. This vintage leads with enticing aromas of almond blossom, lime zest, pink grapefruit and crystallized ginger. On the palate, notes of peach cobbler, honeydew melon, baked Fuji apple and a hint of minerality lead to a clean, vibrate finish.

The pinnacle of our white wine portfolio, Benchmark Chardonnay was created as a complement to our Benchmark Red Blend. Benchmark Chardonnay begins with some of the most exclusive Napa Valley vineyards and is a barrel selection of some of the most coveted fruit from these sites. A beautiful pale gold straw in the glass, the 2019 vintage opens with ripe aromas of apricot, peach and yuzu backed by sweet notes of pie crust and praline. Notes of salted caramel, chamomile and baked bread are unveiled on the structured palate that boasts viscosity that lingers.

Our Benchmark Cabernet Sauvignon recognizes the distinctive character and nuances of our estate vineyard. In 2018, our winemaker surveyed his favorite block, Block 23, by vinifying the east and west sections of the hill and picking his favorite barrels from the most expressive, concentrated and intense lots. Aromas of crème de cassis, spearmint and leather rise from the glass. The flavors echo the nose and add notes of cherry cordial, chocolate mint and dried herbs. Full bodied with a creamy mid palate and silky tannins that envelop your palate finishing long and delicious. This wine is made to age for years to come and would make an ideal addition to your cellar.

Our William Hill Estate Central Coast Pinot Noir is well-balanced and opens with delightful aromas of fresh red fruit with hints of oak and baking spice. On the palate, supple layers of dark cherry and black currant play against bright acidity, a plush mouthfeel and a long, smooth finish.

The Notch Red Blend is our interpretation of the Right Bank wines of Bordeaux. For the 2019 vintage, we blended Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. Fragrant aromas of cranberry sauce, Bing cherry and eucalyptus rise out of the glass. The palate offers notes of ripe cherry, baker’s chocolate and hints of vanilla bean. Medium bodied with soft tannins, our Red Blend can be enjoyed immediately and or cellared to develop complexity as it ages.
