Our Benchland Series wines are crafted from select blocks on our estate vineyard precisely chosen to display intense fruit flavors and layers of complexity. This 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Blocks 21 and 23 in the center of our vineyard. It is full-bodied and luscious with concentrated flavors and layers of complexity. The wine’s notes of blackberry bramble, red currant and brown sugar weave together with tones of dried oregano and thyme and a streak of cocoa nibs. The addition of 2% Petite Verdot help build the wine’s robust but refined tannins. The combine with a velvety mouthfeel and lead to a long, lingering finish that blends those fruit and chocolate notes.

Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Benchland Series offers up aromas of plum preserves, cassis and black cherries with touches of dried herbs, earth and cigar box. Medium to full-bodied, it's lively in the mouth with firm, grainy tannins and a good core of pure fruit, finishing long with an herbal lift. This totally over-delivers! 975 cases produced.
