2023 Pinot Noir
Aromas: Black cherry, raspberry and black tea.
Tasting Notes: Flavors of ripe strawberry, plum, blueberry and cherry layered with hints of cocoa, vanilla and clove, and is polished, approachable, balanced and plush with a long, lingering finish.
Viticulture Notes: Grapes for this Pinot Noir were sourced from select vineyard sites in Monterey along California’s cool, scenic Central Coast. A long 2023 growing season and extended hang time for the grapes offered wonderfully layered and expressive flavor characteristics, vibrant acidity and ideal balance.
Winemaker Notes: Fruit was first cold soaked, then fermented in stainless steel tanks before aged on French and American oak to add texture and depth.
Food Pairings: Enjoyable on its own or paired with beet salad with goat cheese, wood-fired pepperoni pizza, hoisin-glazed pork roast, Korean bulgogi or roasted turkey.
