Perfectly balanced, this full-bodied wine showcases graceful acidity, fine-grain tannins and a long structured finish making it a wine to enjoy now, after an hour of decanting, or tuck away in the cellar, as it will age wonderfully for 8 -10 years.

The William Hill Estate Winery 2021 Napa Valley Chardonnay is an elegant expression of California's acclaimed winegrowing region. Aromas of toasted caramel and warm brioche radiate from the glass. The mouthfeel is luscious and creamy, revealing layers of apple, pear and vanilla with a dollop of lemon custard. Notes of lemon zest brighten the long, crisp finish.

Our 2020 Winemaker’s Series Carneros Chardonnay is a luxurious wine that captures the intricacies of Carneros, Napa Valley’s most renowned Chardonnay region. Brilliant light straw in color, our Chardonnay leads with luscious aromas of almond croissant and apple strudel punctuated with notes of green pear and tangerine. The palate weight is reminiscent of lemon cheesecake, which is balanced by mouthwatering acidity on the persistent finish.

The pinnacle of our red wine portfolio, our Benchmark Red Blend displays a combination of power, structure and site-specificity and is a tribute to our estate vineyard. The complex and full-bodied 2017 vintage is balanced and refined. Tones of blueberry liqueur, raspberry pie and black currant combine aromatically in the glass with hints of camphor and dark chocolate. Merlot and Petite Verdot effortlessly support the blend, simultaneously adding depth and silkiness to the layered profile. On the palate, lush tannins carry over a long, lingering finish.

Our inaugural release of The Notch opens with a bouquet of intense fruit-driven aromas and spices. This Merlot-based blend features decadent notes of Luxardo cherries, crème de cassis, cola and plum on a plush profile that evolves into a velvety finish. A significant amount of Cabernet Sauvignon is used for support – only the ripest estate-grown Cabernet made its way into the final blend, adding dimension and structure while maintaining a luxurious mouthfeel.

The Benchmark Red Blend is the pinnacle of our red portfolio and our most exquisite expression of the William Hill Estate Vineyard. Using our favorite blocks, our Benchmark Red Blend is a big, rich wine filled with high-toned fresh fruit notes including blueberry, blackberry and plum. It’s framed by hints of spice, cinnamon and graham cracker, bringing to mind a summer fruit cobbler. Velvety tannins and a luscious mouthfeel lead into a long, full finish swirling with suggestions of fruit and sweet crème.

Our 2020 Winemaker’s Series Malbec opens with aromas of pine tree, cedarwood, raspberry compote and rose petal. Medium bodied, the palate displays plush tannins and expansive notes of purple plum, torn basil, raspberry syrup, and musk. French oak adds hints of cedarwood to the lingering spice on the finish.

The Benchmark Red Blend is the pinnacle of the William Hill Estate Winery portfolio. Benchmark Red Blend is crafted primarily from select micro-blocks from our 140-acre estate vineyard. The palate is characterized by intense, complex layers of dark fruit and cassis with hints of dark floral characters, while the finish offers subtle notes of toast. Incredibly well-structured, Benchmark has firm tannins and excellent acidity, blending for a rich, velvety texture. Cabernet Sauvignon forms the core of the blend, while Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc offer deep color and notes of blackberry, soft leather and pepper to the blend.

Our Winemaker's wines are crafted from select blocks on Napa Valley’s finest vineyards to display intense fruit flavors and layers of complexity. The deeply-flavored, silky 2015 Winemaker's Series Cabernet Franc opens with aromas of bright blackberry and juicy plum. On the palate, rich flavors of black cherry, blackberry and cola meld with light waves of toasted oak, tilled earth, licorice, nutmeg and black pepper. This medium-bodied wine has a savory mouthfeel and fine-grained tannins that create a clean, bright finish that lingers.

Our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon combines generous fruit-forwardness with a structured and polished mouthfeel. The wine opens with enticing aromas of ripe dark fruit, cedar and spice. On the palate, black cherry and plum mingle with lingering notes of sage and licorice. Full-bodied and well-rounded, this Cabernet Sauvignon boasts beautiful acidity, fine tannins and a long finish. Sourced from archetypical vineyards throughout Napa Valley, this Chardonnay was carefully crafted in the cellar to balance vivid fruit with toasty barrel notes. Our 2021 Winemaker’s Series Reserve Chardonnay open with tantalizing aromas of candied peaches, nectarines, orange blossom and fresh baked apple cobbler. The fruit-forward palate is marked by lively acidity that leads to a long, round finish showcasing notes of shortbread cookie and freshly shaved allspice.

The Notch Red Blend is our interpretation of the Right Bank wines of Bordeaux. For the 2019 vintage, we blended Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. Fragrant aromas of cranberry sauce, Bing cherry and eucalyptus rise out of the glass. The palate offers notes of ripe cherry, baker’s chocolate and hints of vanilla bean. Medium bodied with soft tannins, our Red Blend can be enjoyed immediately and or cellared to develop complexity as it ages.

Our William Hill Estate Central Coast Pinot Noir is well-balanced and opens with delightful aromas of fresh red fruit with hints of oak and baking spice. On the palate, supple layers of dark cherry and black currant play against bright acidity, a plush mouthfeel and a long, smooth finish.

This Benchland Series wine is crafted from select blocks on our William Hill Estate vineyard. This full-bodied, luscious Cabernet Sauvignon displays intense, concentrated fruit flavors and layers of complexity. Deep garnet in color, bold aromas of Crème de Cassis, blueberry syrup and plum compote are presented against of backdrop of earthiness. Intriguing and complex, palate follows the aromas. The wine slowly unfurls with time, coaxing out hints of clove, bay leaf and worn leather. Full bodied, it has a firm backbone of ripe tannins and copious amounts of layered black fruit on the lingering, savory finish.

Crafted from select blocks on our William Hill Estate vineyard, this Cabernet Sauvignon is robust, concentrated and complex. Striking aromas of blackberry and cassis are backed by hints of mint and sandalwood while notes of spicy blue and black fruit fill the palate. Full bodied with ripe tannins, lingering notes of caramel carry through the long finish. This wine ages beautifully, revealing hints of earth and spice over time.

Our 2021 Winemaker’s Series Spring Mountain Chardonnay is an intriguing wine with bright layers and floral notes. Tropical aromas of freshly grated ginger, white nectarine and jasmine greet the nose. Refreshing notes of sliced Green Anjou pear swirl with a hint of Meyer lemon. A silky mouthfeel, round tannin and lovely acidic backbone complete the long, mineral-crisp finish. Enjoyable now or will cellar nicely for many years to come.
