Our 2018 Benchland Series Chardonnay comes from several vineyards throughout Napa Valley as well as a block of Musque clone Chardonnay from Russian River. A beautiful blend composed of our reserve wines, it showcases the spectrum of our Chardonnay portfolio. It opens with expressive aromas of orange blossom, fig, Bosc pear and a touch of lemon custard leading to a rich mouthfeel and flavors of caramel apple and flaky croissant. The finish is long and round, bursting with fruit and hints of toasty oak.

Our 2022 Winemaker’s Series Spring Mountain Chardonnay is an illuminating expression of the variety. Captivating aromas of mango, lychee, wet stone and bergamot awaken the senses as tantalizing notes of cantaloupe, watermelon rind and green pear dance on the palate. A creamy mouthfeel and focused, acidic backbone complete the crisp, mineral finish. This recognizable Chardonnay is delectable now and will also cellar beautifully.

This Cabernet Sauvignon displays intense, concentrated layers of complexity. The 2020 vintage opens with aromas of blackberry reduction, plum sauce, vanilla, and carob. Expansive notes of boysenberry cordial, teriyaki beef and fennel seed grace the palate. Velvety and smooth, this medium-bodied Cabernet is marked by a long, creamy finish.

A beautiful dark purple in the glass, our 2019 Winemaker’s Series Malbec opens with aromas of ripe plum, wild blueberry, dark chocolate and crème brulée crust. Notes of dark Luxardo cherry, Santa Rosa plum and hints of cedar box dance on the vivacious palate as fresh flavors of red and blue fruit extend through the medium bodied finish marked by racy acidity. Enjoyable now, this wine would also age elegantly in the cellar for 5+ years.

This unique and fascinating Cabernet Franc was crafted from archetypical vineyards in Napa Valley. Along with fruit from our estate vineyard on the Silverado Bench, we augmented the blend with a generous amount of Cabernet Franc from the iconic Stagecoach Vineyard on Atlas Peak. A small percentage of our estate Cabernet Sauvignon was added to round out the wine. Our Winemaker’s Series Cabernet Franc showcases fascinating aromas and flavors of chocolate covered raspberries, dried herbs and Castelvetrano olives with a hint of cream soda on the soft, juicy finish.

The William Hill Estate Winery 2020 Napa Valley Chardonnay captures a sense of place from California's famed winegrowing region. Full-bodied and creamy, our Chardonnay opens with aromas of green apple, ripe pear and fresh-baked brioche. Layers of ripe apple and green fig are accented by notes of lemon curd, vanilla and buttery shortbread. The finish is long and lingering, with highlights of toast and a slight floral note.

Our 2021 Winemaker’s Series Spring Mountain Chardonnay is an intriguing wine with bright layers and floral notes. Tropical aromas of freshly grated ginger, white nectarine and jasmine greet the nose. Refreshing notes of sliced Green Anjou pear swirl with a hint of Meyer lemon. A silky mouthfeel, round tannin and lovely acidic backbone complete the long, mineral-crisp finish. Enjoyable now or will cellar nicely for many years to come.

The William Hill Estate Winery 2021 Napa Valley Chardonnay is an elegant expression of California's acclaimed winegrowing region. Aromas of toasted caramel and warm brioche radiate from the glass. The mouthfeel is luscious and creamy, revealing layers of apple, pear and vanilla with a dollop of lemon custard. Notes of lemon zest brighten the long, crisp finish.

Our Benchmark Cabernet Sauvignon recognizes the distinctive character and nuances of our estate vineyard. In 2020, our winemaker surveyed his favorite block, Block 23, by vinifying the east and west sections of the hill and picking his favorite barrels from the most expressive, concentrated and intense lots. Aromas of crème de cassis, cola and nutmeg leap from the glass while notes of licorice, fresh tilled soil, black currant jam and dark chocolate delight the palate. Full bodied, rich and expressive, this wile boasts velvety tannins that lead to a lingering finish. This wine is made to age for years to come and would make an ideal addition to your cellar.

Our Winemaker’s Series Petit Verdot is a powerful wine that boasts classic varietal characteristics. The 2020 vintage opens with aromas of violet, blueberry and crushed gravel. The firm palate exposes layers of black cherry and prosciutto that rest on a bed of bold, dusty tannins with a subtle hint of dried spice on the long finish. This wine will cellar beautifully for the next decade or more and would also benefit from decanting before serving.

Our 2016 Benchmark Red Blend is a 100% estate-grown Cabernet-based wine – a complex and full-bodied tribute to our home vineyard in the Napa Valley benchlands. The 2016 vintage is immersed in ripe notes of black currant, blueberry, cassis and blackberry. Malbec, Petit Verdot and Merlot support the blend effortlessly, simultaneously adding depth and silkiness to the wine’s layered profile. Hints of vanilla, graphite and cedar touch down on the palate and hover above an evenly graded bed of tannins. The wine was aged for 17 months in new French oak (82%).

For the 2020 vintage of The Notch Red Blend, we blended our estate Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. Fragrant aromas of allspice, brown sugar and Morello cherries lead to notes of cranberry sauce, dried herbs and vanilla on the midpalate. Medium to full bodied with silky tannins, our Red Blend can be enjoyed immediately and or cellared to develop complexity as it ages.

Our 2019 William Hill Winemaker’s Series Petit Verdot is a full-bodied wine with a huge presence and depth of dark fruit. Plush and velvety in the mouth, our Petit Verdot opens with aromas of blueberry with sweet cardamon and shaved baker’s chocolate. Layer after layer of juicy black plum and blackberry lead to chewy tannins with a hint of dark spice on the long finish. This wine will cellar nicely for the next 10 to 12 years and would also benefit from decanting before serving.

Our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich, complex wine that combines generous fruit flavors with a smooth-but-structured mouthfeel to display the full character of oustanding Napa Valley Cabernet. The wine is a beautiful dense purple and opens with aromas of ripe dark fruit and spice. On the palate, intense flavors of blackberry, black cherry and plum mingle with lingering notes of sage, licorice and molasses. This is a full-bodied and well-structured Cabernet fine, soft tannins and a long, satsfying finish.
